During the past 20 years, AECF has successfully established strong relations and contacts with top government
officials in both countries through its planned programs.
AECF's programs have successful created close personal
contacts between government officials of both the United States and Egypt. These programs have also provided U.S. officials
with firsthand information on the latest developments in Egypt, and helped them explore new avenues and opportunities for
the mutual benefits of the United Staes and Egypt. The programs have also provided U.S. officials a more thorough understanding
of the government of Egypt's views and policies in the region, and towards the United States.
The achievement
of these activities and services has made a material contribution to better understanding and cooperation between the
United States and Egypt in our increasingly independent worlds.
Today, AECF enjoys full support of both the United
States and Egypt.
AECF
PROGRAM POLICY
The following are AECF's Permanent
Policy which governs the execution of its programs. These rules were made to guarantee the ultimate success for
AECF's Programs & Activities:
* Programs shall be the main activity of AECF. AECF shall organize,
sponsor and execute its programs on a regular basis for delegates from both the United States and Egypt.
*
The objectives of the programs shall focus on creating personal contacts with Egyptian and U.S. officials; providing firsthand
information on the latest developments in Egypt; and helping to explore new avenues and opportunities for the mutual benefits
of the United States and Egypt. The programs will also provide a more thorough understanding of the government
of Egypt's views and policies in the region, and towards the United States.
* The duration of each program
shall be for a period of up to twelve (12) days depending on the purpose of the mission.
* AECF shall prepare
the itinerary of each study mission, finalize its agenda and schedule meetings for its delegates.
* Members
of each delegation must belong to the same institution that they represent. The purpose behind such restriction
is that AECF, in executing its programs, schedules meetings with different levels of government officials in Egypt, based
on the level of the delegation involved.
* AECF shall cover the cost of international airline tickets for
the members of the delegation, five star hotel accomodations and domestic transportation.
* Egypt Air is
the Official Carrier of AECF's delegations to Egypt and the U.S. All members of the delegation on study tour mission
to Egypt & the U.S. shall fly on Egypt Air only. (SF/NY/CAIRO/NY/SF)
* Each delegation shall be escorted
by one of AECF Directors to guarantee a smooth execution of the mission.
